Oh, I get it. I thought you'd have to have that voltage at the sensor, but it's the other way around, the system that will move the car until it receives the given voltage.

Yes, this is how the system works and many people don't understand!
Ask yourself the question, "how does the car know, that it's to low/good or to high"
Wel if you park the car for a while, the pressure in the system drops, this is why the car sits low.
When you start, the computer see the voltage from the sensors and say, "car stand to low" and start the pomp to rise the car, until the value of the sensors tells the computer "now its oke" and the pomp stops.
This is the reason why these sensors are so important.

Talked to the man this morning and passed the knowledge I gained.
He said, he'd call back but hasn't done so yet, which leaves me with the taste, that he may not have been successful.

I'll call him again tomorrow.

SHE IS UP ON HER 4 LEGS!

The guy from the shop just called. He was evidently relieved.
Claims, he had a few more bugs.

Says, he had to put in a new battery, the "circuit breaker" that protects the hydraulic valves had popped out, and hydraulic fluid had been missing. Don't know what to make of it because when I took it to the shop, the suspension had no problems and the oil level was perfectly sub-max.

Let me thank you again for you kind and helpful support.

You know, if this fuse was blown (g39) you get a message on the dashboard these valves are in the black box on top of the pomp. (7715), also about if there was not enough LDS you get a message and why would suddenly you battery must be replaced?
I hope you are convicted now, that it's better next time to see some one witch good know how of the system.

The weak battery is plausible. It's really been sitting for some time now and wasn't the healthiest to begin with.

About the rest, I agree. He probably got the suspension to act up by lifting her up with the wheels dangling and the reservoir closed.

Altogether, he is a very friendly and cooperative person, just badly organized, has a hard time keeping his word, and seems to procrastinate when he runs into things he cannot solve right away.

I had a hard time finding someone here in Berlin who was willing to repair my AL4 transmission. I was turned down by quite a few shops and was happy to find someone who was willing to do it. I wasn't about to disassemble it and finding an exchange trany didn't seem easy either.

I am very happy to seemingly reach the end of this long trail.

Just picked her up this morning.

The rebuilt AL4 runs smooth as honey and the suspension is how I know it: wonderful.

Nice picture of you and the car, but a little comment, it seems to me the car stand around little to high, it should be 73 cm as i say before, but now you can adjust it with the diagbox.

Hey, I just wanted to ask for recommendations on car shops that would work on a citroen. I really just want it diagnosed now and it's been a really difficult task surprisingly.

If you read my reaction from the beginning of this post you know now, if the mechanic don't have in-depth knowledge about the system keep away from them!!
Because it cost you a lot of money!!

TBH even if they do say "I know Citroen" many really do not know the C5x7/C6 at all and can cost you money "parts swapping".....as an owner it is best to look for other owners locally/in your country and get recommendations for these cars.......there were not many who could work on them when new (even in Citroen Dealers) and there are less now.
