Citroen dispatch 2018
Good morning apl,
First time poster/owner. Picked up my 2018 Dispatch over the weekend
Had driven it over 100miles back home no issues but filled the tank ( if that's anything to do with it) after around 100 metres the engine light came on the dash and infotainment screen.
The light is intermittent under braking it seems to come on then off again under acceleration
No fault codes. Anyone have an idea or have had this happen to them? Seems like maybe it's low fluid somewhere as it's moving under braking?

Welcome along
It should leave a code if scanned, but a check of the levels of coolant, oil and brake fluid won't go amiss!

Thanks Richard. I'll definitely double check them tonight, strange how it isn't throwing a code but to be fair the light stays on for under 2-3 seconds under braking

Possibly a warning that your brakepads are getting to the wear limit. Or one of the wires is broken and makes contact with metal. And as you already mentioned it is possible that your brake fluid level is a bit low. Not too difficult to check.

I've found out my fuel temperature sensor is faulty after plugging it in doing some diagnostics can see the sensor is reading -40
Has anyone had any experience changing the sensor? I'm struggling to locate it

Did you manage to sort this? I replaced the fuel filter assembly which Peugeot told me has the temp sensor built into it. still the same though - no engine light but reduced power

Re: Citroen dispatch 2018
Got it all sorted.
It was the fuel temperature sensor it's built into the hose not the filter housing, you have to get the whole hose. The hose itself is cheap £100 from Citroen but the job wasnt small. Half the engine had to come out was around 8 hours labour from the garage

Thank you for posting your update. Although I might quibble at your definition of £100 as being "cheap"!

Re: Citroen dispatch 2018
Well considering the whole job was just under £1000 I would consider the part being cheap
Only being 10% on the total cost the rest being labour the "expensive" part
