Yep. Didn't need to but did hand crank it a few times just because I could. Same with the Renault 4.

It was the the pedals that got me, I have the niggle that mine (GS 1220 Club) had a button for a brake pedal!

I rather think that mine had too. Scary brakes after a Hillman Imp.
