Engine Miss

Hi,
I have a 1.8-16v Xantia SX with 32,000 km on the clock. Recently a slight engine miss has developed around 2000 rpm. The car has new plugs (the same as the original ones.
Any ideas as to the cause of this miss will be appreciated. Regards
