Peugeot 807 Part numbers / Advise Please

Unread post by co04pow »

Hi,

I have posted in the past about my Citroen Xantia but need help with my Daily driver a Peugeot 807,

Friday just past I drove far too fast through flood water and ripped off the (what I have researched to be the fuel cooler) under below the passenger seat.

Got out tied it up and started to drive home, Almost made it before it cut out. Toed it home after work!

I also snapped the fuel return pipe going back to the tank, Thankfully the one running up to the the engine bay is ok.

I have Donated £10 and I am looking for help with the part number and the best way to go about acquiring one.

From Ebay the fuel cooler on the diagram I have looks correct but want to be sure it is, Part Number: 1579LN.

The pipe I require is also on the diagram I have as number 14 but also require this part number and help getting one.

I have traced this pipe back to where it joins pipe 20 on my diagram.

So if I can get these two parts I should be back on the road.

My VIN number is: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Thanks in advance for any help.

Owen

Hi Owen
I have access to part numbers for cars pre 2013 on the 2013 Servicebox backup but no access to the live database. What year is your car? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Hi,

Managed to find this on my own, so part number is 1579PY for the fuel line and 1579LN for the cooler.

I have the cooler coming, sourced through eBay.

Struggling to find the fuel line for sale anywhere so will try and replace the 90 degree push fit connect on the end.

Thanks

Owen

Hi,

Fuel return pipe was delivered on Friday.

Fitted the fuel cooler and pipe today.

Took a lot of priming was the bulb under the bonnet and cranking to get it going again, but all is well!

Don't know if it was just the force/speed of hitting the water or if there was something in it but it had cracked the bottom front section of the wheel arch liner.

Just did a quick stitch job on it for now.

Thanks again for the advise on sourcing the pipe.

Cheers

Owen
