Can anyone help with a fix for a 306 DT: the water in fuel dashboard light intermittently comes on (once a week). I have replaced the fuel filter, and cleaned the fuel filter housing. One thing I did note, is that the sensor on the fuel housing has been replaced once before (it is date stamped after the car was manufactured). Could this be a faulty sensor?
Does anyone know if this is the water in fuel sensor ?
