Hi, first post here. Name is Logan, from Sweden. Bought this charming Peugeot 106 XR HDZ year model 1992. The paint is quite faded and I thought that I could at least try and touch it up some. I can't really find the color code for it, I looked at the driver's side shock absorber and I can see faint faded letters that I cannot make out. Neither in the door openings. Kindly asking if anyone might know or how to find out the color code without paying with the vin nr. The color is very dark blue, something like Midnight Blue and i found something about Vertigo blue
Thanks a lot.

It looks like "Mauritius Blue", code KPK.
Does it look like https://carwitter.com/project-106-gti-first-wash?
When buying paint, beware that PSA changed supplier around the time your car was made, and for the same paint code, the early and late colours can be significantly different. Some paint suppliers understand this and label the paint with a manufacture year, but most dont.

If you put the vin on here somebody might be able to look up the car characteristics.
