Diagbox Question

What is the latest version of Diagbox currently used in authorized service centers? Which VCI is it used with, and how can we access the VCI and the program? Does anyone know? Thank you.

Currently, the latest offline version of Diagbox is 9.243 – it can be used without any problems with a used original VCI – but a good Chinese clone also works – see https://guiapsa.foroactivo.com/f42-descargas-diagbox

Authorised workshops work online for a fee and the software version is slightly higher – updates are carried out on an ongoing basis – the offline versions are always 3-4 updates behind.

Only independent workshops approved by PSA can also use the online diagnosis for a fee if the conditions required by PSA are met.

Hı, Citrotti, thank you for your answers. I have a few more questions. My Diagbox VCI is wired. Isn't there a Bluetooth version? I think I heard that the service centers are using a newer black VCI. Does anyone have any information?

Its not a bluetooth interface, its an adapter that fits on the bottom of the existing interface like this one here. I have never seen fake versions of this adapter yet so would need to get a genuine one.
Yes dealers are moving onto a new system & interface (the black unit) but again not seen any fake ones out there yet.

The author ‘jeremy72’ also sells the older original VCI A.1281 Z with the adapter and, of course, the newer version.
