Master II 3.0: Upper Control Arm Front Bushings Sitting High — Normal?

Unread post by Tomtre »

While investigating a shake that sometimes occurs in our Renault Master II 3.0 dCi 140 when lifting the clutch from a standstill or at low speed, we noticed that the front bushings on both upper control arms sit about 5 mm above their housings. (The clutch has already been replaced.)

At what height should the front bushings of the upper control arms sit relative to their housings?

How is it on your Master?

Any insights or experience, especially with the Master II and the 3.0 dCi engine, would be greatly appreciated!

You might like to copy your query onto the forum in the link below as I believe there is a better chance of a Renault expert on there. We do have some on here but they do not post regularly. :)

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
