I've have an issue with a random cranking, but no start for around 9 month now in my 2020 208.
To get it started I have to switch the ignition off (Push button start) for around 1 minute until the BSI sleeps, then try again and it will start every time.
Its also developed another issue where sometimes, immediately after starting the engine, it will then switch the ignition off itself, shutting down as if you have pressed the push button start to turn the ignition off.
I noticed the head lights flicker on/off as it turns off the engine.
Has any one any ideas?
I'm thinking its immobiliser or the start button switch related but open to any suggestions.
No garage is interested in looking at this for me even the dealers.

How old is the battery?
Try doing a BSI reset. https://frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/view ... 79#p601679

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
