Is example from C3 Aircross. I don't know if mine will be the same. I found information about this battery (no; 9841967280), and it appears to be a separate component plugged in somewhere. I need to check this, maybe at least the location is correct.

Are you sure it's the battery, they are supposed to last ages, also some early cars did get faulty SOS units and were replaced under warranty.

You're more curious than helpful, I'll let you know when I find it, but right now I have no idea where it is.Sloppysod wrote: 09 Nov 2025, 22:14 Are you sure it's the battery, they are supposed to last ages, also some early cars did get faulty SOS units and were replaced under warranty.

No not so curious, I'm just interested,, how do you know the SOS module battery has died. As I said they are supposed to last a long time. My last C5 (X7) started to show error message when it was over 13 years old.jankes wrote: 10 Nov 2025, 07:53

Typical battery failures on C5X 12volt under bonnet, and 48volt (PHEV) central armrest, oh and remotes!

Wrong track, I took it apart and there is nothing there related to the telematics modulemickthemaverick wrote: 09 Nov 2025, 18:49 I think a read through the link below will answer your question as well as raise your eyebrows!!![]()
