Multimedia froze then went black (NG4 /NaviDrive 3D)

I was sitting idle for a while, like 20 mins, cause of some roadworks with AC on and suddenly the music froze and then the whole multimedia turned off I guess (it went black). I had it freeze before, maybe a couple times over a few years but it would usually reset itself and then work again. I let the car sit to cool off, I will check later if it shows anything. Any ideas what it could be? Or do I try a BSI reset?

Tried the BSI reset but doesn't seem to turn on it stays black. I can't even hear anything when turning the ignition. I guess I will see tomorrow but if not, gonna have to take it in for someone to check. Kinda annoying cause these systems are specific so gotta find someone that knows how to I did contact a store that does these repairs and they told me to wait a while to cool off and that potential issues could be the HDD or board problems.

I suppose the LCD itself is not the issue cause you'd still probably hear the music and stuff when turning the ignition on?

Small update. I tried to turn it on via button and for a couple secs the lights on the unit (the numbers, and all the multimedia buttons.) turned off and I heard some sound, not sure if hdd or what like its booting and then it stops.

Turns out the hard disk died. Does anyone have the firmware files for the NG4 NaviDrive 3D system? Cause my hdd is totally dead cant clone it. And Id probably go the CF card route.

I have a image file of the hdd, the CF card is only possible, if you can get the one witch are mentioned, otherwise it won't work, it's better to buy the hdd.

I cannot find the original hdd anywhere. What other hdd will fit? They are IDE pata drives which are obsolete now. Also if you can PM me the image file Id appreciate it.

Toshiba MK 4032GAX look for this one, there are several sites where you can buy this one. To send the image file is difficult because it is more than 20Gb
