2002 XSara Picasso, Open passanger door from outside - triggers central locking system to unlocks all doors!

2002 Xsara Picasso;-
When the central locking system of the case locks all doors, a BUG/Fault is encountered!

Problem:-

From outside the car, when the exterior handle of one passenger door is lifted, it triggers the central locking system to unlocks all doors!

Note:
- This fault only occurs with one of the four door handles.
- The locking mechanism on this door has been replaced, However the problem persists!
- All cables to/from this door have been tested (buzzed out), voltage checked and compared to the opposite door, .. all cables/voltages appear to be working/connected properly.

- FYI; according to a YouTube video, this type of problem is caused by a mal positioned door latch/clip on the door frame/body of the car!
In this case, I tested this, conclusion;- the latch/clip appears to be correctly installed/positioned.

(FYI; For the moment I put in a work around, - preventing the door from being opened from the outside. It's still possible to open from inside).

Does anyone know what is causing of this annoying problem?

If the car is fitted with electric child locks I think that wiring may be worth investigating!

Im sure on the Xsara Picasso the child locks are fully mechanical

Just checking that i understand the problem. Are you saying when you lock the car 3 of the doors are locked as normal but when you pull one of the exterior door handles that door is not locked?

Which door is it? have you pulled back the rubber sleeve on the affected door where the wiring passes from the body to the door to check for any broken/damaged wires? I know you said you tested in comparison to the other door however contact could be made when the door is in the open position but not when closed.
you could rule out an alignment issue by just closing the door latch over with a screwdriver.
