Citroen C3 picasso steering fault

Hi!

new to the forum, hoping I can ask for some advice

i've got a 2010 Citroen C3 picasso hdi. the power steering failed when driving home.

got a new reconditioned motor from Citroen for it, fitted, started car up fault had gone. come to move the steering and the (front end still jacked up) and the steering gets a pretty violent vibration in both directions

(i've attached a video - although its a lot louder in the car. - rattles through the whole front end its that strong!

no other issues with the vehicle prior to the power steering failing.

i'm hoping someone can help who has maybe had this before? I'm not sure if this new motor from Citroen is faulty?

Was the system bled properly after the new motor was fitted?

Hi, its an electric system so nothing to bleed unfortunately!

Ah sorry! Hopefully this link will work. I'm hoping it's a dodgy motor I've been supplied but possibly be the rack? It would be strange for both to fail at the same time though surely?

A bit difficult to hear it properly as someone appears to be speaking at the same time as the noise but I have to say I've never heard anything like it.
