Re: Do you believe in ghosts ?
Ok this is true from my past ,
JUNE 1983 LATE AT NIGHT
Names will not be used for respect for my family's privacy.
I was about 9 or 10 , I can remember hearing thunder rumbling around i was partially awake, then I heard some rummaging from my sisters bedroom and my mums voice asking where my sister had put her bed sheets , now me as a very hyper active kid went straight for the obvious and walked into the room and said something like, you wet the bed .... that was the short version . Dad got out of bed and made me go back to mine , as I fell off to sleep I heard mum say why have you put your sheets in your desk , that was it I woke the next morning and everything seemed normal got up went down to the rear bathroom had a wash got dressed breakfast and went to school,
My sister is 3 yrs older than me, and my younger one is a year younger.
We went to the same school at some point due to our ages (if you know what I mean) I used to have a friend call for me and his mum used to have to walk him because he was like a magician ,he could get back home before she could , he was terrible hardly at school and whe he was he was trying always to run away from it.
When we arrived at school the following morning everyone was taking about the thunder storm from last night and saying how bad it was , my big sister was with her friends which were a larger group than mine and were all chasing each other about around the wooden class rooms ( my old school had lots of wooden hunts for class rooms, long gone now , )
I decided to go see if she would tell me about what happend the night just gone, she answered ,nothing and ran off , after a while there game sort of came to a stop and she came back to the bench i was sitting on with a mate ,so I said why did you put your bedsheets in your desk , she said it wasn't me I asked her what do you mean and what she said beck to me scared the life outta me, she said , as the storm was getting worse she felt her blanket being pulled then she was shaken as her bedsheet the lower one was pulled out fast from under her and she said she saw her desk lid was up the sheet went in it and the lid slammed down right at the same time when a big clap of thunder happend
My other sister was asleep all through it so didn't know anything of what happend. My elder sister then said mum came into the bedroom because of the noise she tought mupy sister was sleep walking or something like it but she wasn't she was sat up in bed in shear fright. I asked my sister did you see anything pulling the sheet she said no the room wasn't lit she was to scare to move , but when talking to mum the next day or so she told mum she thought she saw a man with pointed things on his head and had a horrible looking face.
To be continued...

Re: Do you believe in ghosts ?
Back in 1998 I was working at Godstone in surrey were was making a small car park to a little pub, when working there the land lord of this pub told us about a ghost of a pirate, head met his grizzly end in the pubs cellar, he frequently haunts the premises & surrounding area. I didn't feel or see anything there but will say the actual road felt strange more than what the pub did
