2019 Citroen C4 Grand Spacetourer - Wing Mirrors not opening/closing

The other day the wing mirrors just didn't open the next time I unlocked the car. It is a 2019 Citroen C4 Grand Spacetourer

I have gently opened them and the electric adjustment works of the mirror glass but the units don't close anymore.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I have found some pages in the manual about fuseboxes and F2 20A is identified in a list for Fusebox 1 (see image)

This is fusebox 2

I have a UK right hand drive so there is a fusebox in the glove compartment.

I can see the F numbers so this is fusebox 2

Any one know where I find fusebox 1 in the UK car? It is supposed to be in the same place as FB2 but it is a tight space with a tonne of cabling.

How old is the car battery? Is it the correct type with sufficient rating? Modern cars are very fussy about electrics.

Does it have Stop & Start? If so, is that working as it should?

The battery was replaced in Sep 2024.
The start stops works under the correct conditions without a problem.
I think it is a fuse as everything is functioning just the mirrors stopped the other day that is why I want to check the fuse, if I can find it!

I found the solution, doh! I hunted through the manual and found the section that says you can control the wing mirrors from inside the car when the engine is running. You simply pull downwards on the mirror adjustment switch and the wing mirrors open and close.

I think you may also find an option in the car's menu system to set the mirrors to fold on locking as well

Not on this model. I hunted through the menu and the manual. You can only have mirror folding deactivated by a dealer, otherwise you control it with the button or remote.

Hi

On my 2018 Expert van if I fold the door mirrors in manually on the door switch they will stay in even when locking and unlocking until I manually fold them out again.

I do this when I'm at work as I can be back and forth to the van dozens of times when at a job and don't want the mirrors folding every time to save wear and tear on the mirror mechanism.
