DS7 Crossback 2018 water drainage

Unread post by abinaku »

Hi everyone,

I recently imported a DS7 Crossback 2.0 Opera trim from South Korea. Overall, I’m very happy with the car, but I’ve run into a small issue. Two days ago, it rained in my city, and yesterday while driving, I noticed that the windows were fogging up.

I suspect there might be some water inside the cabin.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Also, does anyone know where the drainage pipes are located on the DS7 Crossback?

For reference, my car is equipped with a sunroof, so I’m wondering if the drainage pipes might be blocked.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Your car is too new for me to be of any help but I agree that blocked drains for the sunroof are frequently the cause of damp getting inside resulting in the misting up. Does it clear when you put the screen demister on with aircon running? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Thanks for your reply!

Yes, it does demist, but I’m just a bit worried that any water inside could reach some of the modules and cause issues down the line.

You may have to resort to using a hose over the roof while watching inside for dampness if you cannot find an obvious blockage! :)
