Hello,
Is this normal with a 1.6 HDI full of stupid things for “clean gases” DPF, Adblue, Urea? It’s normal to be so black? I know it's normal to have a smoked interior, it's a diesel, but is it normal to have the tip so black? As if it were oil? I have other vehicles, TDI, and they don't look like this.
In September you asked about the noise - was it normal. You then asked about a soundbox which you have now removed. (I didn't reply to that because you started the topic with bad language. There is no need to use "WTF" to get attention on this forum, or use scatalogical terms). Soundboxes had a serious purpose when they were being developed 25 years ago: manufacturers wanted to find out if active sound supression could allow for more open exhaist systems and improve fuel efficiency/performance. It wasn't economically viable but the technology continued for individuals who wanted to modify their cars.
Now you wonder about the soot deposits at the end of the exhaust. If you step back and think about these questions they may well be linked. Perhaps a previous owner removed the DPF and other things and fitted the soundbox, so your whole exhaust system is no longer even close to the original. Here in the UK a car with the DPF removed would almost certainly fail its annual inspection, the tesr includes particulates, "smoke" test. You also said, in a post about windscreen, the the VIN wasn't visible until you changed it, which for me would be a 'red flag' if I were buying a used car.
Can you find out more about the car from whoever you bought it from?

Well, It was not my intention to cause misinterpretation or draw attention.
I also shared your reasoning. If someone wanted to change the sound of a diesel, they probably would have done so. But the car came from Belgium, and I believe there are strict rules there regarding removing DPFs. To import into Portugal, it also (supposedly) goes through a more rigorous inspection where if it does not have a DPF, it will not pass the inspection. Although it is possible to overcome this in future inspections (with euros in the vehicle), it ends up being illegal. But is it possible to know if it was removed without a gas test? Because the car doesn't emit smoke.
Regarding the VIN, if you're not careful, the VIN will be covered, and it's already visible. I've already replaced a windshield on a car purchased in Portugal, exchanged directly by the manufacturer, and it was hidden.
Finally, I really appreciate your response, I appreciate your time and your thought.
