Petrol is very dodgy stuff Jim, I remember a case where, working over a pit to replace a petrol tank a mechanic spilled some, he completed the job ok and moved on then another mechanic put a car on the pit and got underneath to do some welding, he died from his burns as the petrol fumes sitting in the pit burned all around him.

Nah, diesel's awful stuff  Only any good for running classic railway locomotives :)

I jest. Diesel, in conjunction with a well engineered DPF and SRC system is as clean as a whistle and quite safe. It's really rather difficult to get it burning accidentally. It can also be made from a wide range of precursors... Nothing not to like really...

Diesel, is okay if it's controlled and kept in its place!!. I'm sure we have all suffererd from walking on a garage forecourt where someone has spilt some diesel, and almost going "Base over Apex", let alone on not being able to go around roundabouts as expected, on 2 or in 4 wheels!!

Electric trucking

Unread post by Gibbo2286 »

This man has an interesting series of videos, some will be interesting even to car owners as well as truckers.
