Evening everyone, I need some help and advice
my friends berningo engine failed, 1.9 DW8, got from eBay replacement , swapped from old immobilizer fuel solenoid, starts all ok but white smoke from exhaust and uneven (like misfiring) idle, checked compression, perfect, checked glow plugs all ok, one thing I noticed when disconnecting advanced solenoid it's runs great, no white smoke , smooth but I can hear loud tapping, can someone help me what's could be the issue. Thank you

Does one of the injectors have a needle lift sensor? did it go back on the correct cylinder? number 1 (gearbox end) if i remember right.

Engine came with injectors, so yes it's at gearbox end, correct position, I even swapped from old engine, I thought maybe cable broken
