Hello.
I know it's probably impossible to diagnose things online, but I'm going to try, as someone unfamiliar with 308's and turbos.
I'm a new proud owner of a Peugeot 308 2016 1.2 Gt Line.
It's a beautiful car!
I've had it since Saturday, and twice now, when I've been reversing the car to park, I've heard a loud whine for like 1-2 seconds. (Coming from the front of the car).
I don't believe this is your typical reversing noise either and it doesn't happen the whole time, or every time I reverse.
It's like a short burst almost, or a high pitch whir, and sounds like a jetwasher.
Here is a youtube video: https://youtu.be/7waK5EZRWNg
(It loops 3 times, and I pop text up as the noise is happening).
Anyway, is there anything obvious I can check before going to a garage, given it's random and hard to reproduce? Or are there any common faults with cars being put into reverse, with random, short noises?
I guess I'm worried it's the turbo or something serious.
Thank you for your time.

Since it only happens in reverse it is unlikely to be engine related so not the turbo. Possibly something that changes direction when going backwards which might include something catching on a wheel/tyre, driveshaft, the brake pads. You could jack the car up and spin the wheels in both directions to see if you notice anything. Also make sure the wheel bolts are done up tight enough.
