184 km is 114 miles = sounds a bit short, what's typical interval (I thought much less frequently than that??)
A quick search, here:
viewtopic.php?p=538865#p538865
suggests +400 km between regenerations. I understand it can vary, but half as much??

Shorter trips can cause more regens. My 308cc did 2 last week seems ok soot content was 32 % it's now 0.01. Now it's nagging about injector 2 and 4 , out of tolerance, is number one the timing belt end (I can't recall but I'm thinking it is ? )

That's nice and low, all sounds well there.

Yes, agree shorter trips (and more cold running) will bung it up quicker.

Good question, I can never remember which end is number one, either! Think conventionally is from flywheel end, but Peugeot/Citroen is from the other end?? (Or might be the other way around!)

Conventionally it's numbered from Timing belt end, but PSA number from flywheel.

Wheel off, pumped up to 3 bar, close inspection all around the perimeter, sidewalls and listen if the valve is hissing.....

... No idea!

Dropped off at local tyre place for puncture repair, hopefully they can dunk it and spot some bubbles. Fine yesterday morning, flat today!

A lucky day I think!

Whipped the wheel off at lunchtime, puncture fixed:
Corrosion between tyre's bead and the rim. Odd it's gone from fine to "goes flat overnight" but fingers crossed their diagnosis proves correct!

I've put the wheel back on again this evening (just before we lost the light)

Hoping it's looking nice and round in the morning [-o<

£20, which a short but of research suggests is cheap for a puncture repair nowadays (think last repair I had was £10, but thinking about it - that was probably 20 years ago! Had a few punctures since then but all either unrepairable or not worth bothering (as tyre fairly well worn))

That's cheap Mick,

Though wouldn't have done the trick for my corroded rim bead issue. :rofl2:

Our last couple of punctures were repaired at no cost at our branch of Kwik Fit. We've had a few tyres there over recent years but I think that is not the reason, most likely they are a good bunch happy to help out but seem overworked by the constant stream of cars having tyres.

I had similar on my Picasso a couple of years ago, the tyre place reseated the tyre, cleaned up the bead seating, popped a new valve in and touch-wood, it's been good ever since.

Done FOC as they know me as a regular customer...

27 quid charged 4yr ago for a puncture could of got almost a budget for that price ran by an old school friend of mine whon I got out of a few scraps when we were teens , so much for the thanks in later life .

Had Halfords last yr come to fit 2 new corners on the 308cc I then got this same chap to take off one on the picasso when I had it he showed me the state of the inside of the rim , it had not been cleaned at all , he asked whom did it so I found a receipt in my emails and when he saw the name he commented that person had been called in about bad workmanship then he cares to remember, he also said with an attitude like it he shouldn't be in the job , I asked how much to sort it , just a cuppa tea .
