Not wishing to pump you for more details but it would seem that it didn't revolve at all, hence the problem? :-D
Indeed, the big absence of revolving was the issue entirely! :rofl2:

I'll let the pictures do the talking here:

Side by side comparison of old and replacement pumps:

New pump in place:
IMG_20251009_124807071_HDR.jpg
Very awkward getting behind the washer to get in it's "hole" then reaching behind the (adjacent) dishwasher to reach the drainage stand pipe.

Back into place and a test wash completed = success!

Hurray! :)

Yes, Bosch in their wisdom seems to have two similar pumps "three tangs" and "four tangs" (mine is a four) but more widely there's a plethora of different types. Standardisation: nope!

Also points for "more awkward than it needed to be"
Pump electrical connector points forwards and the plug that feeds it clashes with the pump housing outlet pipe. So you have to unplug the electrical connection first, reconnect it last. Which would be no issue but for it facing away from you - perfect for access from the side (which is not removable) rather than the bottom (where pictures taken from) can you clock it round towards you? Nope. Loads of room around it but a faffing about blind job for no obvious reason :-D

Come on guys. I opened this post to see the latest on the C5 suspensions issues to find posts about replacement pumps. Aha, i thought until I realised you were talking about dishwasher pumps!! I know the C5 has been called a lot of names but "dishwasher" is a new one to me, but lets keep these topics focused..

The software can only make do with what pixels are there to start with! :rofl2:

A few faults logged,
cylinder number one
cylinder number two,
cylinder number three
cylinder number 4 and
particle filter,

Particle filter fault logged at 202933 kilometers. Current mileage is 126244 which equates to 203170 km. So I guess that is what triggered the on-screen message about diesel filter on its recent commute.

Just logging all the associated values and I will post a few screenshots up shortly.

Resetting of injector outside the tolerance

P0263 Cylinder number 1 fault was logged at 193,012 km
P0269 Cylinder number 3 fault was logged at 194,013 km
P0272 Cylinder number 4 fault was logged at 192,832 km
P0266 Cylinder number 2 fault was logged at 192,667 km

Nothing particular about any of the logged values seems unusual, so I think I will just delete those and see whether they ever return.

Summary of DPF readings:
When fault logged:
Particle filter differential pressure= 0202 mbar
Flow of gas through the particle emission filter 0000 m³/s
2 km since last regeneration
Engine at 1844 rpm.

Quick test on driveway today:

At idle speed:
812 rpm
Differential pressure 015 mbar
(When car initially started differential pressure at idle was 008 mbar, higher reading was after the higher rev readings were taken)

At 1968 rpm
Differential pressure 028 mbar

At 2786 rpm:
Differential pressure 060 mbar

Both a long way from 202 mbar logged above!

Currently 139 km since last regeneration, average of 184 km per regen for the last ten.

184 km is 114 miles = sounds a bit short, what's typical interval (I thought much less frequently than that??)

Looks a bit like me currently, trying to pretend I'm not in pain after trying to walk a short distance

But then, Diagbox is always painful in my experience
