A scruffy 1.8i sinker Xantia being sold by a car dealer on a side street in a french seaside town.

Spotted and heard it's distinctive engine sound whilst out last night, the owner and his dog (not visible in the photo unfortunately) looked about the same age, also not visible but I love the fact that it had the "proper" yellow headlights, it was dwarfed by the other bland SUVs etc around it and for that reason I took this photo of a distinctive car & not the usual dross we see on the urban highways of today.

Anyone care to comment on which type of 2cv this is?. Also apart from the bright lights of the following "WhatEverItWas" vehicle I cannot explain the odd light(ing) seen @ the rear of this car. The barriers in the photo are there for a local marathon (the day after this photo was taken).

Spotted this the other day... The Xsara is becoming quite a rare car. This one looked in tidy condition...

No care was taken in composing the photo, it was just a quick opportunist ' walk by' snap whilst out with my granddaughter.

'Grandad, why are you taking a picture of that red car?'

It did, however show that Ilford HP5 pushes quite nicely to 800ASA ;)

Spotted a few over the past few days
Nice Citroën van and a peugeot 1007 ? I think anyway I've not seen one for a long time and the doors as i was informed by the owner have never give him any problems at all he said his local garage collect the car . Service it , mot it and check everything over and give him a findings report so he can decide when he wants the work done and not them , now that's what I call service .

Last Sunday, as I was heading west on the A4 near Hare Hatch, I spotted a G reg metallic sky blue BX that looked in lovely order.

The 1007 is now vanishingly rare Husky - good spot!

And very unusual to see a BX out in the wild these days James, especially in the deep mid-winter... The vast majority of good ones are now just show queens...
