Strange electrical issues

really desperate for any help with a 2018 2.0 blue hdi boxer. Yesterday, my android head unit restarted a few times for no reason and the airbag warning light triggered. Then power to head unit went completely along with permanent air bag light, random alarm not working warnings, no headlights low or high beam (I have side lights and indicators), no interior lights, no aircon (the blower fan works normally) and odb port doesn't seem to be communicating with diagbox (but that isn't definitely linked, as it's been a while since I last used it).

Has anyone got any idea what that combination of issues could indicate?

I've charged the battery, added an additional earth from chassis to battery, reset BSI, checked fuses in engine compartment and checked fuses by steering wheel and all seem ok ( i put a multimeter across them without removing them is that adequate?) and still no luck. So now i'm very puzzled, but i'm guessing for all those issues to happen at once, might indicate what the issue is. Anyone had similar or got any suggestions? thanks in advance.

That certainly sounds like you have a BSI failure of some kind. You need to get a high end diagnosis and see what faults come up
