Police appeal after £16,000 of parts stolen from Citroen garage
North Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal for information following the theft of vehicle parts at a Citroen Garage in Cross Hills. The incident occurred at the garage at Kildwick Crossing on Skipton Road between 11.30 pm on 22 September and 12.33 am on 23 September.
In a post on the force’s Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information about a theft from the Citroen Garage at Kildwick Crossing on Skipton Road, in Cross Hills. Between 11.30pm on September 22 and 12.33am on September 23 unknown people have entered the garage and stripped numerous vehicles of their parts – over £16,000 worth of damage has been caused.”
Police are asking local businesses to check their camera footage for a white and orange van, as the occupants may be able to assist with their enquiries.
