Peugeot 405 Roof Bars

Unread post by skes »

I bought a set of the above for my 94 405 estate to fit the roof rails, they are actually slightly too wide, any ideas what other Peugeot they could have come off, the guy i bought them of (ebay) swore blind they came of his 405 estate.

Possibly even an 806. I bought a set of second hand Thule roof bars for my 406 estate and they were too wide but I filed the slots where the feet fit and they're spot on now.
Oh, by the way, you don't by any chance think the guy LIED just to get a sale do you? The ones I got I was told he used them on some car or other but when I looked at them in daylight they had obviously never been fitted on anything! (I did realise they were too wide when I got them but knew I could make them fit)
