New here saying hi and asking a question

Unread post by picasso_5 »

Hi

Long time reader ,had many Citroen's in the past and found great help browsing ,now joined to ask a question acquired 2011 Citroen c3 picasso 90bhp ?
But when looking for service parts numerous sites suggest different items and even list as 92BHP
So was wondering if there is a way to get correct info using My registration somewhere ?
Such as is there a DPF ?
Single or solid mass clutch ?
What engine actually have ?

Thanks

That information is available from the car's build sheet, assuming it remains as it left the factory. If you visit your dealer and give them the VIN they are able to get you the build sheet which is something we are currently unable to do. We are in discussion with Stellantis to regain our access to the database which would allow us to research that info for you as used to be the case prior to the reorganisation. There are members with their own access and one of them may see your post and help you out. :)

The close but not quite the same numbers (90/92, 108/110, etc) are usually because of the slight disparity between BHP and PS. Can't remember which way round it is though.

Thank you both for the replies ,I will have to get VIN when I return home this weekend.
This is my first "modern" diesel last one I had was a 2002 Berlingo multi space 1.9 N/A, was a brilliant car just hoping these are as reliable as I'm now aware that they are much more technical work DPF,DMF and eolys etc
