Had a bit of a 'nature walk'.
There are usually tremendous amounts of blackberries around here, especially beside the long disused railway track

These were the best of them, the rest all dry and undeveloped.

There are also lots of 'wild' apple trees, loaded down with fruit. All out of my reach :(

Had the brambles been a bit better and I better prepared I could have had the makings of lots of apple and blackberry pies.

Not a second wasted (by the manufacturer) on sharpening these new drill bits!

Admittedly 1.5mm is pretty small but "generally pointy" would be an upgrade on that poor effort!

I do love a trundle down to Dungeness - there's something about the whole area that I like :)
I managed a trip into the power station a lot of decades ago - it seemed a lot bigger then :lol:

I hope you're going to prove your skills and hand grind them back into exactly the right shape and profile on a bench grinder :-D Shouldn't be too dificult............ to get at least one spot on :lol:
