I've been driving her to and from work all week and she is driving lovely. She does however have an exhaust leak which unfortunately is coming into the cabin with the blower on so something between the manifold and the dpf obviously has a leak. So I need to find that bit peed off but happy with her overall behaviour. I think I am going to have to ask my mate to let me use his ramp to fix it

I think you may find a small piece of exhaust bandage will make a better seal than a ramp Darren! :-D

Hi Mick, no need to rap a ramp around the exhaust on this occasion not even a bandage was required. I was the clamp on the exhaust to cat was misaligned slightly. Tightened up and no more exhaust fumes in the cabin thankfully. I still have a squeal coming from the general turbo area which does seem to be affecting fuel efficiency which is annoying. She sounds and drives really nice apart from that..

Ok so found the squeal a bolt on the egr to intake pipe flange was loose. It had a loose thread on it so chucked a new slightly longer bolt in and voila squeal gone. No more squeal but a lot more power. It was leaking quite a bit, there was plenty of soot around the pipe and the gasket was black on that side.. She is much quieter all round and she's averaging 47 mpg now.amazing how these little leaks affect engines..well that's a fix so happy bunny., 😀

Nice one Darren, there's nothing like a leak to ruin your performance, especially in Wales :-D

EGR connection on the exhaust is pre turbo, so pretty high pressure - so if it leaks it'll leak a good deal :)

Read your joke three times before the penny dropped Mick! Must be too tired (bit like a bicycle... :rofl2: )

Now Mick your showing your age🤣🤣.Come on Matt you normally leave the rest of us behind you must be working too hard 😁. Thanks Kenny well it only took 2 and a half years. 600 miles now and she's running better every day. Delighted with her now. The handling is pretty good as well. A lot less body roll than the 508.The comfort is great she doesn't have hydractive unfortunately but she's still a thousand times more comfortable than the primera.

Hi all, just over a thousand miles up and all good so happy days. In regard to the radio, mine came with bog standard rd4 . I want to install rneg with monochrome screen not interested in sat nav screen. What do I need to do this change?
