Berlingo low beam flickering
I have a citroen berlingo 2,0 hdi 2006 and when you start it first the low beam works. After 30 seconds they start to flicker and after that they go out. Both do the same at same time. I have tried messure som connectors in the bsi (bsm?) under the hood but cant make any sense of it. You can hear som relay working when you turn on and off the low beams. Do anynone have wiring diagram for the lights? And can point me in some direction?

Do you have remote locking where the lights flash when you lock or unlock the car?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

As I understand it the signal comes från the lever on the steering wheel. A grey 6 pin connector. The it goes to the bsi after that wires goes from the bsi to the bsm via the front left wheel well. And them bsm to the lights. Correct me if I am wrong. I am trying to see if one of the wires are broken between bsi and bsm. I had this before with the airbag and replaced the wire. So could be the same problem.
The problem is that I dont have any wiring diagram so I dont know which wires goes to which pin on the other end. Anynone have a wiring diagram?

Start simple.
Find the +12v at the back of the bulb, and earth. A seperate earth like battery -ve or the engine block, not just the bulb.
Attach a volt meter across these points.
When the lights go out, do you still have +12v at the back of the bulb? If you do, switch, bsi and bsm are likely all good and you're looking for an earthing problem.

Sorry that I did not mentioned everything. I have done that and when the lights go out I dont have 12V. I have around 0,4V.shtu wrote: 24 Sep 2025, 14:53 Start simple.

Re: Berlingo low beam flickering
It's probably a fault in the BSM (under bonnet fuse box) - there's no direct connection from the switch / BSI it's just a computer controlled function. So the command is there but the relay is dropping out

Is it possible to replace the BSM or do you need to program it?RichardW wrote: 25 Sep 2025, 12:12 It's probably a fault in the BSM (under bonnet fuse box) - there's no direct connection from the switch / BSI it's just a computer controlled function.
