Citroen Grand Picasso 2.0 blue HDI 2015 coolent bleeding

Unread post by Britab1967 »

HI

I have changed the heater matrix on my grand picasso, as i was not getting any heat on the drivers side.

Where are the bleed screws so that I can purge the air from the system?

Thanks

Hi and welcome
I cannot help with the location of bleed points but I can suggest an alternative that may help out. Basically fit the kit I show in the link, run the engine until fully warm with top and bottom hoses up to temperature, turn on the heater to full heat and keep running until no more air bubbles up. Then you will have bled the entire cooling system and in my case it has been spot on ever since. If a lot of air comes out make sure the coolant level stays above the neck of the funnel the whole time by filling gently as it bubbles away. Although this link shows the procedure on my Subaru, exactly the same procedure has worked perfectly on my MX3 and the C4 I had last year. Good luck :)
