I believe that's a heater - don't have a part number, but this might be it: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385179148352

Also only just noticed after months that further up that pipe is a sensor with no plug in it, any thoughts anyone!

Believe having google that one with no connector is pcv valve, still none the wiser on one nearest maff

If you look at the e-bay link I sent you can see the connector on the line. PSA take the mick with prices, but even they would baulk at >£100 for a short rubber pipe!
What fault are you trying to fix?

Have previously posted that I have esp/asr fault c1391 torque fault with no other faults on normal driving ,BUT, when I do a diagbox airflow test ,engine running but car static ,it throws up cold air flow above reference value( with diagbox running engine at different revs,) I can't duplicate these faults on live data revving engine myself ,the ref value and air flow match each other, This random diagbox induced fault is the only thing that I can think is causing the permanent c1391 fault ,I have replaced ,maff, egr valve ,map, yaw sensor, abs ecu, so the sensor I asked about is directly linked to air intake and wanted to rule it out, everything else on car had been calibrated/ changed or not showing any faults, down a bit of a rabbit hole at moment
