Re: Anybody
I certainly have been wondering Gibbo, are you fighting fit again or on a slow recovery path?

Re: Anybody
Just getting back on my feet Mick, poisoned by my own pee through an infected catheta it seems, a neighbour called the ambulance when I'd not been seen for a few days, been pumped full of antibiotics through a vein for abut nine days.

Ouch!! Talk about a system backfiring, glad you've got it sorted now and getting back to normal. You haven't missed too much but I'm sure you'll catch up!

My sympathies and I can empathise. I had the pleasure of my, now regular, summer holiday in the hospital. I spent most of August and a bit of September there.
I had an antibiotic named colloquially as Taz fed to me intravenously whilst there. Same as yours?

Oh gosh, that sounds horrible. Really good that a neighbour looked and stepped in for you like that though and good to hear that's getting you back on the mend.Gibbo2286 wrote: 11 Sep 2025, 16:34 Just getting back on my feet Mick, poisoned by my own pee through an infected catheta it seems, a neighbour called the ambulance when I'd not been seen for a few days, been pumped full of antibiotics through a vein for abut nine days.

I love this thread, I feel really young now! It's nice to hear of community's looking out for each other rather than the my kids are angels keep yourself to yourself if that makes sense.
