Hi Guys need some assistance, I have a 2012 DS5 2.0 diesel auto. I recently replaced the radio with the same model from the same vehicle, 2012 DS5 2.0 diesel auto, my sound card burnt out somehow. Anyways all functions are working except the volume only has one level, it scrolls through from 0 to 30 but stays the same volume level. Plus i cannot adjust the bass or treble settings. or any other sound settings. Other than that every other feature is working perfectly satnav, bluetooth connect, radio. I'm in SA so dealer knowledge / assistance here is bad.

Re: DS5 Radio Volume Control Issue
When a new/used radio is put in it needs a diagnostic to put in the vin of your car, otherwise it ought to beep but you have not mentioned that. Have you put in your vin yet ?

Yes the VIN was already put in to remove the security beeping. All all settings checked, I have attached some screen shots of the diagnostics when done. Picture 6 shows which radio options available to select.

Re: DS5 Radio Volume Control Issue
When the sat nav or traffic data gives voice messages it automatically lowers the music level to background while it's speaking, maybe because telematics ECU not recognised it has caused it to be 'stuck' in this setting. Have you tried deactivating RDS mode and voice mode for the satnav?, this might help??
