Hi everyone, we have a 2018 DS3 1.2 110 Puretech auto with an outside exterior temperature issue. It's affecting icy exterior warnings, completely flummoxed the tyre pressure monitors etc.
I've replaced the sensor in the OS wing mirror and this has had no effect.
Sometimes the screen display shows a temperature close to the actual temperature but most of the time it shows -30 degrees celcius.
I've heard there may be another sensor close to the front of the car.
I've also bought a iCarsoft scanner but although the VIN was recognised when I scanned it, I was then left with 4/5 different ECU types, module types etc I had to chose before proceeding. It was all a bit of a nightmare!
Has anyone any idea about a fix before I take it into the dealers?
Thank you

Re: DS3 Exterior air temperature issue
There certainly are some models with an ambient temperature sensor fitted in front of the radiator but I don't know if yours is one of them I'm afraid
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Thanks. I'll put it on the ramps to see if I can see anything

Re: DS3 Exterior air temperature issue
Probably a broken wire on the way to the mirror - either in the door connector or the mirror itself. If you unplug the sensor it should go to some low value (often -40) and if you short it out you should get some high value.
