Yes, it certainly was and it was a true delight to see you all. A week later I'm still smiling about it.

James called in to see me yesterday with a veritable library of books to keep me well occupied when I'll not be very mobile. Thanks James :-D

And the camera I was testing works well :-D Here's a candid shot it took of Ryan looking amazed at just how much can be squeezed into Skull's AX boot!

That's a great photo, shows off my spare tyre belly perfectly! I was just as shocked at seeing the Saxo lump squeezed into the engine bay, proper wolf in sheep's clothing. I dread to think of the power to weight ratio!

Don't know exactly what it'll be except it'll be very significant ;) That little AX must be an absolute hoot to drive 8-)

Mine are and they only have a fraction of the power that one's got!

It's warm-hatch rather than hot @ 95bhp per tonne (assuming all the horses are still in the stable :dunno: ) ... it's a little gruff even at legal speeds but in the last 2 weeks I've done 1,662 miles fully loaded with flooring and hiking kit and has still returned over 50 mpg =D>

Now I'm back home after my adventures (including The Coy Carp meeting) it's time to fix the Xantia ....

My 5th Citroën sAXo Memphis Mk II

Xantia x3 (2.0i TCT Activa)(2.1 TD SX)(1.9 TD Estate)
Xsara HDi VTR Coupe / Saxo 1.1i / BX 1.9 d / 4 x AX's (1.1i / 1.4D / 1.5D)

Here's a different idea: I am thinking of going along to this myself and it occurred to me that it could be a good place for an informal gathering. Anyone interested? You have to register for your free tickets and mention on here your plan and maybe a lunch gathering could be on the cards?

It has been suggested that we have a lunch meet at the Crown and Sceptre next week on Tuesday 16th or Friday 19th. Who can make it and which day is preferable? :-D

I can, but it will have to be the Tuesday. If we were to go to the launch event it would also have to be the Tuesday.
