Fault Code clearing.
Hi. I’m having a little trouble clearing fault codes on Diagbox . It keeps on asking me to set up an after sales zone . I try but it keeps on failing. I can clear faults on individual ECU’s . Using a set up from Easydiagnostics. Many thanks in advance for my help

As you have Easydiagnostics kit you should contact them to help you out. Their aftersales support is usually very good indeed.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Fault Code clearing.
It should just let you enter the milage and then set up the 'zone' - however it only allows 10 or something, so once they are full it it says it can't but then deletes the faults anyway. Never got to the bottom of if you can delete the zones. Note that the fault will come straight back if it is permanent, and the conditions to clear it are not met.

Re: Fault Code clearing.
It can be done, but it's difficult and ultimately pointless, as you can still clear the codes. At worst it makes you cycle the ignition to do it. I never mess about entering mileages, jsut keep pressing forward until the "not enough memory" message appears, cycle the ignition, done.
If you REALLY want to clear the aftersales zones (which I still can't work out the use of, like any Citroen ever built would only have 10 fault-clearing sessions),

Re: Fault Code clearing.
Hi. Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately Easydiagnostics is closed again until 18th September. I’m not trying to clear all the zones. I’m currently on zone 4 . I try and put the mileage in and then validate it put it keeps saying “ Erase faults failed “. . There are 20 faults in the engine ECU section and I would just like to clear them so that I know which one is current. thanks again

Re: Fault Code clearing.
I have taken the car up to our local garage in the hope that he would be able to connect to the engine ecu and reset the Eolys tank level after we have filled it and also tell the car that it’s had a new EGR valve . He can connect but cannot erase faults or tell it that the tank and the Egr have been sorted. It’s exactly the same as Diagbox at home. Tried a BSI reset to no avail. Beginning to think it’s the ECU possibly. Car runs fine with no Engine management light on , just says engine fault and service light on.
