I love how much you all ignored the vibrator comment assuming he used a "bent drill bit".....

Had we not then the forum would have needed to implement adult verification and the thread declared NSFW ;)

Today's work was twofold, firstly I had to clean and prep the car for tomorrow's appearance at Drivetribe Live which I just got done before our second shower started:
MX3 ready to be admired
MX3 ready to be admired
During the shower I came inside to pass the time on the dartboard, during which time I achieved a first ever for me:
I was even going for it!!
I was even going for it!!
Then after the shower and the darts I went back outside to do the second part of my work. I have been annoyed by the radio installation in the MX3 for longer than I care to remember with no ability to play stored music or use the phone handsfree. The other day I came across the perfect solution for my situation so I ordered it, paid just £32.45 and received it this morning. It took me longer to get the old one out because the cage had bent than it took to plug and play the new one. I now have handsfree calling, AM, FM and DAB radio complete with remote control and an aux input socket, a phone charging USB and a standard USB to take memory sticks with music as well as a TF card slot should I want to go down that path which I probably won't!! It even looks good I think without making the older car look dated:
Tuned to AM, red backlighting
Tuned to AM, red backlighting
Tuned to DAB, green backlighting
Tuned to DAB, green backlighting
The remote control which can be mounted on the steering wheel but not for me.

Not bad at all for less than £33.00 :-D

I have retained the original radio that was in it when I bought it but that wasn't an original from new one anyway. A previous owner had swapped the original for a garish unit with the pointless super attenuator features and a CD which I never use anyway!! I only listen to Talksport but now with DAB I can get Talksport 2 as well!! :-D

I could never afford an 8 track when they were around, that was when I had a 12 valve Reliant, 8 in the head and 4 in the radio! :-D

Mick, I've chatted to you about this before....you don't get paid enough to look after Jim, but anyway, here's a couple of photos of my cars headlights.
Good one
Good one
Bad one
Bad one
, what would you recommend to get the bad one clear again? I'd ask Jim but he's putting carpet on his dashboard....normal.....

I would use K2 products which I have had excellent results with: https://ebay.us/m/Z4HvGZ :)

Try rubbing it with a bit of toothpaste on a tissue before buying anything.
