Greetings.
I am seeking a sunroof diagram for a 2009 C5 X7. The bodywork has been completed, and the vehicle's roof, including the sunroof opening, is in place. Photographic documentation will be provided subsequently. The project's completion required one week of effort. sunroof diagram has been located, but a specific wire is absent from the available documentation. (Purple wire)
Coding adjustments have been implemented using Diagbox for the sunroof functionality, and a donor vehicle's BSI was utilized to extract relevant configuration settings. The current challenge involves a missing purple wire in the diagram, despite its physical presence. When it is connected to the accessory circuit, the sunroof operates correctly, including one-touch opening and closing. However, the remote locking function does not activate the sunroof's closing mechanism.
Based on the available diagram, the wire associated with remote closing functionality (i guess) appears to connect to the white connector (40V BA) on the upper par of BSI, specifically pin 19, and subsequently to pin 9 on the sunroof motor.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, as the remote closing function is the final component required for optimal functionality.
Also, if someone could provide a diagram that has all the wires associated with the sunroof, since mine only has 12V from the G34 fuse, white wires from 40V BA to the 9-pin on the sunroof motor, and a ground wire.

Re: Sunroof retrofit on c5 x7
Done a little bit more digging, and the white wire, code 6859, going from 40V BA to pin 9 on the sunroof motor, is for sunroof automatic closing control. But for some reason, it seems that it is not working for me.

Is there anywhere other than the BSI, where the alarm functions are configured? And a setting needs changing in that so that it knows to send a signal to the sunroof as well?

Re: Sunroof retrofit on c5 x7
Well, I kind of got it as a DIY fix. After spending hours and hours in the garage, I finally found a DIY solution, which is not the best, but it does the job. I took a window closing signal from the rear door and connected it to the sunroof's closing command wire. Now everything is working like a charm.
