Re: CitroJim's AX, C3 Picasso, Cycling and Running Tales
I found what looks like one in the car park at the back of my house. Expected it was dropped by the grandchild of a woman who lives opposite but it wasn't.
Hung it up for anyone who may have lost it to see, along with a duck found in the same place a couple of years ago. No-one seems to want them.

Ahh yes, Peppa Pig's new baby sister - it was big, big news... She's called Evie and was a well-kept secret until she arrived...Huskyxantia wrote: 16 Aug 2025, 07:28 My grandaughter informed me a while back they did a pepper pig episode where someone was pregnant or there was a big wedding, ? Be careful what you wish for!
Fireman Sam used to be relatively inoffensive,
They've "brought it back" as a new version, computer animated and just awful!
Thomas now bounces up and down and jumps between tracks....

Winnie the Poo has been a bit 'transformed' too - since the yanks got their evil paws on him and his pals... It's all got a bit twee...
Bluey's OK though. She and her family remain a one of Autumn's big favourites
Definitely! A while back Radio 4 did just that for a special one-off series - it was good
Going by how much litter there is nowadays compared to the 70s I fear we'd need millions of Wombles to deal with it all

Postman Pat freaks me out, you can't get away with those accents in anything else.

That is a real pain. The first closure is bang on my route to Jim's on that morning for our next trip at the exact time I would have been going through. A change of route is called for !!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Indeed. I'm being pilloried by all my cycling friends for my absolute temerity for not delaying my holiday to observe this auspicious occasion...mickthemaverick wrote: 18 Aug 2025, 23:35 That is a real pain. To be honest, I couldn't care less. I NEED to get away for a few days and I'm a sports participant and not a spectator. I have no wish whatever to struggle for half a day through crowds to get to a spot where I'll spend five seconds watching a bunch of cyclists zoom past in a blur... I'd rather watch grass grow...
No, I'd far rather - by several orders of magnitude - be with you Mick, zooming our way northwards
Things are not too happy here at the moment and having a bit of a break from it is being very much looked forward to

Well I'm glad I warned you about it, it's one thing watching it on the TV, completely different feeling when it messes up your travel plans.
