New to me peugeot boxer
Hello. I have just bought a boxer van. It's a factory 6 seat swb low roof on a 16 plate, and covered 106k. There's very little service service history with it. I'm wondering what engine it is and if it needs a timing belt change. It's chassis number is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. All I know is it's a 2.2 and it's surprisingly powerful and smooth. I would say it has been well serviced, it's one company owner. Can anyone enlighten me if it's a timing belt or chain and if there is a time for changing it. Thanks, Davie.

Have a look at this post from another forum and I think you will find it is a timing chain. https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/to ... n-or-belt/
According to this link (you have to read down a fair bit) the chain does not need replacing as a service job at all: https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com ... e-interval

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
