With 3 weeks and 2 days to lift off I thought it might be time to add some flesh to the bones I posted at the start of this thread:

Thursday 4th September
05.30 Home -
06.45 Newport Pagnell -
10.30 York National Railway Museum
18.00 The White Horse Lodge Thirsk

Friday 5th September
08.00 The White Horse Lodge Thirsk -
10.00 Beamish -
16.00 TBA
19.00 The Countryman's Inn Hunton near Leyburn

Saturday 6th September
08.00 The Countryman's Inn Hunton -
10.00 TBA -
14.00 TBA -
16.00 Newport Pagnell -
17.30 Home.

The current possible meets that are still to be confirmed include Neil at York, Steve and Gary at Beamish, anyone else who hasn't shouted yet!!

As you can see we have a very flexible time on Thursday afternoon and all day Saturday. I'll post up our likely route in the week and if you can meet us along the way it would be great!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I've been to Leyburn, my brother got married there. A beautiful place. Seemed almost sea side like especially down the high street when you see a shop window full of 'marmalade' dolls..... If I remember correctly, the dambusters train in the valleys there, obviously not bombers now but fighter jets.

Thanks to Ryan's post here, I have been warned about an issue with the route plan, but as it only affects me on my first route on the trip I won't bother expanding on my new route. Changing the subject we are still hoping for confirmations and suggestions for meets as yet unknown? :-D

Panic mode activated last night as I thought that Beamish was the 14th and that Friday was going to conflict with the C3 recall.
Just my poor memory, the recall is the 4th and I think the 14th must be my youngest son's wedding. Or something.

No, it's OK, just a bit muddled, not unusual.
