Morning all,
Does anyone have experience of replacing the front passenger window motor?
Diagbox indicates LIN bus communication failure, so the BSI can't sync the module and defaults to the fail-safe anti-pinch mode.
My main reservation about doing it myself is the risk of damaging the door card when removing/replacing it, as replacements seemingly are not readily available.
Any useful tips, please? Or would I be best advised to get the local garage to sort it (£300-£400 estimate)?

Before you dig into it at all I'd suggest you inspect the wiring loom where it passes from the body into the door. It is a fairly common problem to get a broken wire there. Once you are satisfied with that then given your lack of confidence with removing the door card I'd get some help from someone with more experience.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Thank you Mick - wise words! I'll try to check the loom tomorrow. But as this was contemporaneous with the BPGA failing, I fear the LIN bus electronics in the motor may have gone AWOL. Frankly, my old Lotus and TVRs were just as unreliable with their niggling faults as this Peugeot, but a damn sight easier to fix because everything was easy to get at!
