Beautiful!
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

It's a long time since we had a Pickled Egg Jukebox theme day and I can't think of a more appropriate theme for a Jukebox than Silence. Can we get to ten by the end of the day I wonder? So having got started with Steve's post here's my first thought and our number two:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Len "Chip" Hawkes from the Tremeloes is really rather poorly. Let's all wish him the best.

And I suppose that makes me responsible for the next offering. Also very apt for the theme: Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode.

Are we going to disallow different versions of the same song? There must be tons of "The Sound of Silence" available.

Good point Paul, I'd say post whatever you want but only the first version of a song posted will count towards the target of 10. Sound reasonable? :)

Yup. In which case I'd like to add what I think will be no 4 in the list of new songs, Hymns To The Silence by Mr Conviviality himself, Van Morrison. The video accompaniment could do with improving though.

Can I get away with this for number 5? :)

A nice tune for number 6:

Hmm, not sure that's allowable. I'd have put Silent Night up if that were the case.
