Hi all, a friend has a 1987 Renault 25 Monaco with a non working front drivers side window regulator. After removing it from the door it is the drive cable that rusted and broke. I don't know what the correct name for the cable is. Can anyone shed any light on this, is it possible to get a replacement drive cable or anyone know a source for a replacement regulator assembly? He found one listed on ebay but it had a different motor and he didnt think it would fit onto his door.
Any advice or information appreciated.
Thank you,
WM

Is this any use? https://www.autodoc.parts/lemforder/9977744
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I had to replace my window regulator recently and it also had a different motor, also tilted in a different angle, but it came with its own connector plug and it fit perfectly, so no issues there. Not the same vehicle though, but I thought it's worth to mention.

Thank you both, mickthemaverick & some1else. I did find the autodoc.parts one but it was out of stock.
I found one by going to Ebay France and using google translate for my search terms and results. Turned out to be surprisingly easy, electric window regulator translates as "lève-vitre électrique" and so on. I think this may be a good tip for others looking for hard to find French car parts.
