DS5 hits 100k and now some issues

Unread post by Neilied »

Hi all. Have. A 2013 DS5 which has recently clocked 100k. Have owned it for about 5 years and has been quite reliable. I had a fan controller go faulty that killed my battery, also clutch issue that was just a hose connector that dropped the fluid. However the past few months I have amassed a few issues.

1. I Started to notice in stop start traffic a jolt of the steering wheel. I mentioned during its MOT but my local indie checked as per MOT and it passed. However this has got noticeably worse and a knocking sound too. No play in the wheel so unsure what it could be.

2. Intermittent keyless entry problems on rear drivers side door and now drivers door too. Sometimes it works sometimes not leaving me fumbling for the keys. Passenger side doors and boot no issues.

3. Gave the car a good clean yesterday and under my drivers seat I noticed crumbs of something? Could be the seat foam? Wrong side of the car for the little ones food debris. Could my seat be seamed strange.

Any pointers for the above gratefully received. Also searched the airbag issues and it appears DS5’s are also affected as mine flagged up.

Thanks all
