My 2017 Scenic 4 has developed a problem with the alarm going off. So yesterday it went off as soon as I opened the rear doors. Could not get it to stop, ended up disconnecting the battery and eventually it stopped. Connected the battery and it'd just make the alarm sound. Left it disconnected for about 5 hours and reconnected and it was stable. No alarm sounding.
Stuck my Carly on it and scanned, it found 11 faults non if which were alarm or key related. Cleared faults, car now will start, drive, unlock and lock. Soon as you move and press the brake the alarm sounds. Tried multiple times and same fault. Last time I've tried, it started and I deliberately kept off the brake pedal, stuck it into reverse and it sounded.
Anyone know what the fault could be, or direct me towards someone who knows maybe?
