It's his 16th birthday wish, so I'm more than happy to oblige.

Getting this thread back on topic, our last meet was 26th June so 6 weeks on takes us to the week 4-8th August. Any suggestions? :-D

No suggestions from me :( but I'd like to be there (wherever it may be !), but won't be able to confirm until much nearer the time. So I'm not a lot of help in the end

I'm content and happy to report I may be able to travel a little further afield after yesterday's adventure and the improvement continues ;)

Be great to see you Bobins :)

Sadly I'll be in Aberdeen for most of the suggested week for a friend's wedding (and using it as an excuse for spending a bit of time in the area I really call home), but don't let that get in the way. Sure I'll make the next one.

In view of the overwhelming entusiastic number of suggestions flying in, how about a second attempt at The Coy Carp in Harefield on Tuesday 12th August? Not the week of Zel's wedding or the two birthdays I have to attend in the original proposed week so hopefully a better response? :-D

I don't know at this time. I have got to get a couple of problems on the Volvo sorted (and I KNOW I don't have the ability). A nicely recessed ABS sensor that is rather attached to the location, and an air intake issue (but not nailed down the exact fault).

At this time, the 12th works for me... I'll have to pull up my big-girl pants and psyche myself up to drive there... Going to be a challenge but I'll do it ;)

Well if Zel can't make it Jim you could always come to me on your known route and go in mine. :-D

Great, just need to hear from a few more and I'll book the table again, although we'd better not cancel again whatever happens!! I actually went there for dinner on Tuesday this week and had a delicious meal and Guinness 0 to accompany it!! :-D
