I have a Trafic 2.5 with a g9 engine in I swapped engines and now it won't start at all

I swapped engines and put the old injectors back into it as I know they work and I now it won't start. I have a plug that doesn't go anywhere on the same loom as the maf sensor and thermostat and the camshaft sensor which is brown and has two wires going into it but cannot find what it goes into does anybody have any ideas what it is and shy it won't start

Have you swapped the engine's ECU with the Engine?

I haven't swapped ecu as the other engines ecu is different the immobiliser light is off and the engine does crank over. I swapped everything from one engine to the other

Does the diesel pump need coding as I got a feeling it could be fuel

I don't believe the pump needs coding. This sounds to me like air in the fuel system, I'd check all the fuel lines and connexions, make sure the fuel filter is not clogged, make sure you don't have a vacuum in the fuel tank. That's for starters!!
